What is a single buggy?

Types of single buggies
A buggy that is lightweight can be an excellent option for parents who frequently travel, plan to use public transport with their child or go on vacation. They typically weigh less than 6kg, and fold down compactly, so they can easily be carried into overhead compartments of flights. Buggies that weigh less than 6kg are great to travel with because they're easy to manoeuvre. They'll typically come with a raincover and sunshade, too - always worth investing in because they'll keep your baby comfy at all times!
A Jogger buggy is a single buggy that is designed to exercise. It has large BMX-sized wheels. It also has a good suspension, to absorb the bumps and bounces of off-road usage. Jogger buggies can be hard to steer because the front wheel could swivel, so it's important to secure this when putting up kerbs or crossing roads.

The purchase of a single buggy
A new buggy is an expensive purchase. The majority of pushchairs with bassinets for newborn babies can cost upwards of PS700. This is a lot for parents on a the tightest budget.
The reality is that, unless you live in an urban area that has public transport at your fingertips or have an enormous car boot and spend every weekend in muddy parks, the majority of families buy two buggies. One sturdy buggy that can handle rough terrain, carry heavy loads and grow with your family, and a second, lighter buggy to be used on holidays or in tight spaces like public transport or crowded streets.

Buying an extra buggy
When purchasing a double-buggy there are a lot of things to think about, from the amount it will cost to what kind of reclining positions the seats can offer. You will also want to think about whether you will require an enormous shopping basket and what kind of suspension the buggy has.
